Rose Fredrick Project Space
The Rose Fredrick Project Space showcases work by outstanding contemporary realists of the Western US. Award-winning curator and art advisor Rose Fredrick brings her stable of painters, photographers, and sculptors to Gallery 1261 for special exhibitions throughout the year. Fredrick works hand-in-hand with the team at Gallery 1261 to curate exhibitions and promote living artists. Perhaps best known for curating and growing the Coors Art Exhibit into a multimillion dollar sale, Fredrick shares her vast knowledge of art and the art market with collectors and artists. Because she is passionate about helping people understand the art world, she writes about art for numerous publications and has a regular column in Western Art & Architecture called “The Collector’s Notebook.” To read her blog where she sheds light on the crazy art market, check out her blog at rosefredrick.com.

About Rose Fredrick
Rose Fredrick has spent the last three decades working in the art world as a curator, author, editor and director of major exhibitions. She is a passionate supporter of artists whose work speaks to the Western US and believes in shining a spotlight on the lives and work of painters, sculptors, photographers and other artists who simply don’t fit into a neat and tidy box. Her exhibitions are always in pursuit of a larger conversation whether it's women in art or Native American voices or confronting myths about the West. Rose is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with everyone at Gallery 1261 and grateful that they have offered her space to curate and host dinners and other events. Rose also writes a blog aimed at answering collectors’ questions. To read on topics such as how auctions work and how artists price their work, visit https://rosefredrick.com/the-incurable-optimist.
