The 1261 Spring Show brings together new work by a diverse group of Gallery 1261 artists. This group exhibition marks the arrival of spring with a thoughtful presentation of contemporary realism, spanning still life, figurative work, sculpture, and more.
 

The works on view highlight the exceptional range of techniques practiced by artists represented by the gallery. Viewers will encounter meticulously rendered florals, expressive figurative scenes, playful still lifes, and finely crafted sculpture—all grounded in a high level of skill and attention to form.

Highlights include Quang Ho’s dynamic Gypsy Dance (2025), Daniel Sprick’s luminous florals and reflective still lifes, David Cheifetz’s vibrant tabletop arrangements, and Tony Curanaj’s richly detailed study. The exhibition also features Scott Fraser’s witty still life and a striking wall-mounted cast sculpture by Bill Starke.

Each work reflects the artist’s deep engagement with light, material, and the act of seeing—offering a timely reminder of the power of quiet observation.
