ON SITE
Gallery 1261 is proud to present On Site, a solo exhibition by internationally acclaimed plein air painter Ulrich Gleiter. From the frozen stillness of Lapland to the sunlit slopes of Colorado, Gleiter’s bold impasto and lyrical brushwork invite viewers into raw, intimate encounters with place.
This exhibition captures the emotional topography of nature as Gleiter sees and feels it. His work is alive with rhythm, color, and atmosphere. Whether painted along the rugged coasts of Brittany or under the expansive Colorado sky, these pieces are not mere depictions of geography. They are lived experiences, transformed into art with immediacy and sensitivity.
With On Site, Gleiter shares not only landscapes but the presence of being within them.
